NBA: Victor Wembanyama named 2026 Western Conference Finals MVP

San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama was named the Most Valuable Player of the Western Conference Finals after leading his team past the Oklahoma City Thunder in a seven-game series.

The 22-year-old received the Earvin “Magic” Johnson Trophy after averaging 27.3 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.7 blocks, and 1.4 steals per game throughout the series.

In the decisive Game 7, which the Spurs won 111-103, Wembanyama finished with 22 points and seven rebounds.

Wembanyama was a unanimous selection for the award, receiving all nine votes from the media panel tasked with choosing the Western Conference Finals MVP, according to the NBA website.
