Tiffany Reyes dazzles anew as Gilas Girls maul Singapore to go 2-0 in FIBA Asia Cup SEABA Qualifiers
Second-generation baller Tiffany Reyes shone once again as Gilas Pilipinas Girls blew out Singapore, 83-53, to remain undefeated in the 2026 FIBA U18 Asia Cup SEABA Qualifiers on Wednesday night in Bacolod City.
The 15-year-old Reyes, the daughter of former PBA player Jay-R Reyes, picked where she left off last night and dropped as the young Filipinas improved to 2-0 following a dominant 93-42 win over Vietnam on Tuesday.
Gilas turned a slim 18-17 lead at the end of the first period into a 42-27 halftime lead thanks to Reyes' six-point output in the second frame.
Reyes, whose 14 points steered Gilas past the Vietnamese crew, then opened the third quarter with a triple before her floater sent the hosts to a 53-27 cushion.
Sophia Dignadice knocked down her own three-pointer, carrying Gilas to a 58-31 lead as Gilas closed out the third period enjoying a comfortable 65-42 lead.
Reyes top-scored after unleashing 18 points on 3-of-6 clip from the three-point area while also grabbing seven rebounds, four steals, and one assist. Dignadice chipped in 16 markers, seven dimes, and five boards.
Zaydhen Rosano posted nine points and five rebounds while Rhiane Meshelle Perez had seven markers, six steals, and two blocks.
