Adili was a promising rookie big man for Ateneo last UAAP Season 88, where he emerged as the Blue Eagles' fourth-leading scorer behind Kymani Ladi, Dom Escobar, and Shawn Tuano. In only six games he played, the Nigerian center posted averages of 7.5 points, 8.17 rebounds, 0.67 assists, and 0.33 blocks to help Ateneo rack up six wins in 14 games.
Adili was also a key contributor to Ateneo's impressive 4-0 start in Season 88.
Before coming to Katipunan, Adili was a star in the junior ranks. He helped New Era University win back-to-back high school basketball titles while also winning a pair of MVP awards in his last two years with the school.
The 6-foot-10 Adili was listed on Ateneo's roster for the ongoing FilOil EcoOil Preseason Cup but did not see action during the Blue Eagles' opening game against Adamson University last Saturday, a game Ateneo won 72-52.
