PSC chair Gregorio asks: 'Where's Tab Baldwin?'
Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman Patrick Gregorio has called on Ateneo de Manila University men’s basketball head coach Tab Baldwin to address the public days after the university announced the deaths of Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili during a team-building activity in Aurora.

In a statement, Gregorio said, “Where is Tab Baldwin? Why is he still not speaking up?”
“This is beyond Ateneo. This is a national concern. Out of respect for the family and the Filipino people, he has to come forward.”
As of Thursday, Baldwin had yet to issue a public statement regarding the incident.
“He has been here for 10 years. I don't understand why he can't understand our culture — konting respeto at pakikipagkapwa naman."

Baldwin has been the Blue Eagles’ head coach since 2016 and has led the Katipunan-based squad to four UAAP championships, including a rare three-peat from 2017 to 2019 and another title in 2022.
The PSC on Thursday said it would provide financial assistance to the families of Baterbonia and Adili, while also pushing for reforms aimed at strengthening safety measures for student-athletes.
