The New York Knicks celebrated their first NBA championship in 53 years after defeating the San Antonio Spurs, 94-90, in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Saturday, June 13 (U.S. time).
Jalen Brunson powered the Knicks with 45 points in the title-clinching game to earn NBA Finals MVP honors, averaging 32.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game in the series.
