Phillips, Manalili, Miller banner Collegiate Mythical Team

De La Salle University’s Mike Phillips, along with NCAA standouts Janti Miller of San Beda University and Jonathan Manalili of Colegio de San Juan de Letran, headline the Collegiate Men’s Basketball Mythical Team in the 2026 Collegiate Press Corps Awards Night.

Phillips, the cornerstone of the Green Archers’ championship run in UAAP Season 88, averaged 12.4 points, 14.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists to lead this year’s mix of UAAP and NCAA standouts.

Miller and Manalili’s teams, San Beda and Letran, faced off for the NCAA Season 101 title, with the Red Lions eventually taking home the crown.

Miller averaged 20.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.1 steals, while Manalili was named Rookie of the Year after norming 11.0 points, 10.5 assists, and 5.5 rebounds.

Joining them are UAAP Season 88 MVP Janrey Pasaol of Far Eastern University and University of Santo Tomas foreign student-athlete Collins Akowe.

In the women’s division, champions Kent Pastrana and Brigette Santos of the University of Santo Tomas, finalists Ann Pingol and Tin Cayabyab of National University, and two-time MVP Kacey Dela Rosa comprise the Collegiate Mythical Team in women’s basketball.

The Collegiate Press Corps Awards, to be held on June 29, are presented by Strong Group Athletics.
