Jack Animam brings act to Poland as overseas journey continues

Jack Animam continued to make history as she brings her act to Poland to play for the Energa Torun, a professional women’s basketball team in the country’s premier league Basket Liga Kobiet.

The move will mark the 27-year-old Filipina center’s return to the European scene.

Animam was fresh off netting her first-ever professional title in Japan after helping Denso capture the 2026 Women's Japan Basketball League title last April.

Animam, also a standout of the Gilas Pilipinas Women, first brought her talents to Serbia with Radnicki Kragujevac in a trailblazing move before signing with Toulouse Metropole Basket in the Ligue Feminine de Basketball (LFB) Division 1 in France in 2023.

In 2021, the former UAAP MVP from the National University, also won a title in Taiwan after helping Shih Hsin University (SHU) claim the University Basketball Association (UBA) title.
