Gilas Pilipinas Boys at the 2026 FIBA U18 Asia Cup

The Gilas Pilipinas Youth Men’s team advanced to the next stage of the FIBA U18 Asia Cup after defeating Thailand, 91-62, in its final group stage match on Tuesday in India.

With the win, the Philippine men’s under-18 team finished the group stage in second place with a 2-1 record, behind Australia, which handed the Philippines its only loss. The Filipinos also picked up wins over Chinese Taipei and Thailand.

Australia, meanwhile, has secured a spot in the Qualification to Quarterfinals, where it will face Group B’s No. 3 team, Syria.
