Dan Rafael of ESPN.com reports that the date of Manny Pacquiao's next fight has been pushed back from November 10 to December 1, to allow Pacquiao time to file the paper work necessary for another congressional run. Rafael quotes Pacquiao's adviser Michael Koncz, who said, "Manny has to be in the Philippines for the filing of his candidacy in October and I don't want to interrupt his training, nor does Manny. "If he fights on November 10, it would interrupt his training because he would have to go back to the Philippines. You lose two days going there, and it's a long trip in the middle of camp.We don't want to have any excuses when he fights." In the past, Pacquiao would split his time, starting his training off in Baguio, before heading to Los Angeles, to trainer Freddie Roach's Wild Card Gym to finish off his preparations. Now though, Pacquiao will be spending the entirety of his training in LA. "Once he starts training, we're doing it all in America," said Koncz of the change. "He felt the training camp would be sufficient to do it all in LA." No foe yet While Team Pacquiao has set a timeframe for the fight, there is still no decision as to whom he will face on the new date. According to Koncz, "We should make a final determination in the next week or so," just don't expect it to be Floyd Mayweather. "As you know, we're willing and able to fight Floyd anytime he wants, but I don't believe he is ready," Pac-man's adviser said. "Floyd just got out of [jail]. He's spending time with his family. He's enjoying his freedom....I don't see Floyd going into the ring until next year, but who knows?   Other options on the table include Timothy Bradley in a rematch of their June bout, a fourth battle against Juan Manuel Marquez, and a rematch with Miguel Cotto. - AMD, GMA News
