Chris Algieri to Manny Pacquiao: 'I'm coming to win this fight'

 

Despite the growing number of his detractors, Chris Algieri remains unfazed and determined to show the world what he's capable of when he squares-off against Manny Pacquiao at the Cotai Arena in Macau, on November 22.

 

Pegged as a 14-to-1 underdog according to initial odds, Algieri is faced with the same predicament before he upset Ruslan Provodnikov this past June. 

 

But the unbeaten world junior welterweight champion signalled that he's leaving no stone unturned when it's time to fight the Filipino icon.

 

"This is a very real fight. Mark my words. I'm coming in fully prepared, I'm sure Manny knows this and Freddie knows it as well. I'm coming to win this fight," said Algieri in an interview with Boxingscene.com.

 

"I'm not here to get a payday, I'm not here just to fight Manny Pacquiao. I'm here to win this fight and I'm gonna be fully prepared on fight night" added Algieri. — JST, GMA News
