Manny Pacquiao's longtime rival Juan Manuel Marquez is unsure of what to do next in his legendary boxing career.

Word has it that Marquez was eyeing a November ring return, but he dismissed the rumors regarding his future.

"I don't know anything regarding an alleged fight in November or a possible opponent. I keep thinking about my future [in boxing]," said Marquez as reported on Boxingscene.com.

"It's not an easy decision and I'm not taking it lightly. I only ask that there is no speculation about what I'm doing in my career."

The 41-year-old Marquez (56-7-1, 40KOs) last fought in May when he dominated the younger Mike Alvarado over twelve rounds en route to a unanimous decision.

The victory made Marquez the No. 1 contender to Pacquiao's WBO world welterweight title and was amongst the initial selection of possible November opponent for Pacquiao.

An alleged demand of a $20 million guaranteed purse however, ultimately took the Mexican out of the equation. — JST, GMA News
