Filipino ring icon Manny Pacquiao convinced the world that he still has what it takes in the boxing ring after a dominant victory against Chris Algieri last November.
But brash American fighter Adrien Broner — a friend and "little brother" of Floyd Mayweather — thinks that Pacquiao will be easy pickings.
"I want Pacquiao. I’ll kick his ass," Broner told ESNews when asked about who he wants to fight next.
The 25-year-old did not name names at first, but the mention of Pacquiao had him expressing his desire to face him in battle.
"It's the A B show. The question is who wants to fight me," he said initially.
Broner had his immaculate professional record tarnished with a loss to Marcos Maidana early this year, but his slate of 29 wins and 22 knockouts remains impressive.
When asked on his thoughts on the challenge of a skirmish with Pacquiao, Broner made a confident statement and hit back at critics.
"Every fight is tough so we can make it look easy," he said. "Critics are like *ssholes, everybody got one. A hater is a fan, they just don’t know yet." —Marisse Panaligan/JST, GMA News
