Floyd Mayweather doesn't have a reputation as a knockout artist, but that doesn't mean he punches lightly.

Take it from former three-division champion Shane Mosley, who has been in the ring with both Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.

"Pacquiao is a great fighter and a great competitor. [Pacquiao] does have good speed, good power; Mayweather also has good speed and good power. A lot of people don’t think he hits as hard, but he does have good power the way he throws his punches," Mosley told thaboxingvoice.com

"Floyd has the power to hurt [Pacquiao]. Floyd has good underrated power. He likes to make people come to him, and when he hits them they feel it."

Like many other fans, Mosley is hoping that the two ring icons finally mix it up. If that happens, Mosley gives the edge to his fellow American.

"I lean towards Mayweather because he’s maybe a little sharper, but anything is possible in a boxing match," Mosley said. — JST, GMA News
