Contrary to an online report, Floyd Mayweather wasn't hostile toward Manny Pacquiao when they met at a Miami Heat game on Tuesday night (Wednesday morning PHL time), according to an associate of the Filipino ring icon.

Writer Ben Thompson, who is known for his close association with members of the Mayweather camp, wrote on fighthype.com that the unbeaten American fighter confronted Pacquiao during ther meeting.

"According to one source, Mayweather told both Pacquiao and Koncz to 'stop lying' about signing any contracts. The same eyewitness tells us that Mayweather then informed Pacquiao that he's been told multiple lies. Mayweather explained that "he's been trying to make the fight happen" and chose to stay silent throughout the negotiation process because 'I don't entertain bullshit!'" Thompson wrote.

"Another source tells us that Pacquiao was 'on hush mode,' speechless as Mayweather repeated, 'stop lying,' and asked him 'what contract' he signed. As Mayweather reiterated to both men that lies are being told, Koncz began stuttering before attempting to lay all the blame on promoter Bob Arum, telling Mayweather that he's only saying what Arum has been telling him. Mayweather then informed both men that it's not professional to lie and "if you're not going to tell the truth, it's best to stay silent.'"

But Bernard Cloma, who attended the game with Pacquiao, belied the report.

"Kanina lang nu'ng basketball, nu'ng binanggit siya (Pacquiao), si Mayweather na 'yung lumapit. Kaya 'yung iba diyan na gumagawa ng istorya, that's not true, na inaway daw. That's not true," said Cloma in a radio interview.

On his Instagram account, Cloma posted photos of the two boxers, where they are seen exchanging numbers.

"Si Mayweather pa ang lumapit kay Pacman to get his [number]," he wrote. "Kaya tuloy na 'yan sa May 2015."
