Filipino boxing champ Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao on Saturday morning (PHL time) said he is dedicating his May 2 fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. to the fans who "willed" their bout to happen.

In posts on his social media accounts, Pacquiao also posted shots of the contract he signed for the fight, even as he said he is happy the fight will finally push through.

"I dedicate this fight to all the fans who willed this fight to happen and, as always, to bring glory to the Philippines," he said.

He also said he is "very happy" that he and Mayweather "can give the fans the fight they have wanted for so many years."

On his Instagram account, Pacquiao posted photos of a portion of the contract he signed – the copy he posted, however, did not yet have Mayweather signature.

"Finally he sign(ed) the contract so the fight is on, this is what I'm talking about that I sign(ed) already before, I'm just explaining to the fans and to prove that I'm not lying, I have the fear of the Lord," Pacquiao remarked in the Instagram post.

"So this is it! The fight is on fans, you deserve it, thank you. To God be all the Glory," he added.

Another Instagram post showed a part of the contract's co-promotion rights.

Fan to Pacquiao: Give him that loss!

This early, fans posted their sentiments on Pacquiao's Instagram account urging him to give Mayweather "that loss he should've had."

"Give him that loss that he should've had a long time ago that bum!!!! Make sure he don't pay the judges!!!!" said the fan.

"Finally... After all the talk ..all the smack all Mayweathers bullshit ...Finally Manny can take out years of frustration on.Mayweathers face ..Kick his ass in 2 rounds ..Go Manny," said another. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
