Floor seats for Pacquiao-Mayweather fight reselling for almost P1 million

Anyone who wants to see Manny Pacquiao fight Floyd Mayweather up close needs to pay a pretty penny.

 

Floor seats for the much-awaited bout have been listed for resale beginning at $22,441, or more than PhP988,000, according to a report on CNN Money.

Online ticket brokers have begun listing for the seats even though tickets to the fight are not available yet. Ticket prices are expected to be between $1,000 to $4,000, according to published reports.

 

Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum told ESPN Radio that MGM Grand, which will host the fight on May 2, will only make tickets to floor seats available to high-rollers — gamblers who are willing to lose thousands of dollars on single bets. According to Arum, only those that have at least a $250,000 credit line with the casino will be able to sit ringside. —JST, GMA News
