Exclusive red carpet press conference set for Pacquiao-Mayweather

The public will get a rare chance to see Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather go face-to-face in an exclusive red carpet press conference on March 11 (March 12 PHL time) at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Mayweather's official announcement of the much-awaited showdown came in late February, giving the fighters just ample time for training but not for a traditional multi-city press tour.

The rare event will have Pacquiao and Mayweather go face-to-face for only the second time since their first meeting in an NBA game thisJanuary.

Aside from the fighters, prominent names who'll be in attendance are Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach, Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe, Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, Showtime Sports executive vice president and general manager Stephen Espinoza, HBO Sports president Ken Hershman and president of MGM Resorts Richard Sturm.
