Pacquiao undergoes surprise drug test for Mayweather fight

Champion boxer and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao took a drug test on Sunday (Philippine time) as required by the camp of undefeated US boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. for their long-awaited bout in May.

 

According to a report on "24 Oras" aired Sunday, Pacquiao gave urine and blood samples to a medical technician who came unannounced to the Pan Pacific Park in Los Angeles, California where Pacquiao has been training.

 

Pacquiao said he had no problem with the extra drug test that Mayweather's camp requires of fighters he is facing and even suggested he pay a $5-million fine if he tests positive for drugs. — JDS, GMA News
