Unbeaten pound-for-king Floyd Mayweather says that Manny Pacquiao wasn't the only one hurting when they fought inside the ring this past weekend at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Shortly after the fight, Pacquiao revealed that his right shoulder was in pain during the bout as he apparently injured it three weeks before the fight.
But according to Mayweather, he too had his shoulders hurt, including his hands going into the mega fight.
"Of course they're going to say Pacquiao was hurt, which he could have been hurt," Mayweather tells fighthype.com.
"I'm not saying he wasn't hurt or he's not hurt, but, you know, I had two hurt shoulders and two hurt hands and I still went out there and tried my best."
Mayweather cites that Team Pacquiao is simply stressing a rematch. In a recent report, Mayweather was said to have sent a text message to Stephen A. Smith of ESPN stating he's willing to give a rematch a year after the Filipino's surgery. - RAF, GMA News
