A Floyd spy in Manny's camp? Mayweather claims he knew everything about Pacquiao's training
Did Floyd Mayweather have a spy in the camp of Manny Pacquiao prior to their mega-fight this past weekend?
The unbeaten American champion is claiming that he had inside information about the Filipino ring icon's training even before they stepped into the ring.
"Everything Manny Pacquiao did in his camp every day, I knew. I knew when he boxed, I knew when he didn’t box. I knew how many rounds he boxed. I knew how he was looking. I know how many rounds he did in the heavy bag. I knew when his legs were cramping," said Mayweather in a video on FightHype.com.
"I knew everything."
After the fight, Pacquiao revealed that he took several days off from sparring as he nursed his injury. Pacquiao also said that he was sure that Mayweather knew about his hurt shoulder, even though the Filipino fighter's camp kept the information confidential during training.
Mayweather, meanwhile, criticized Pacquiao for revealing his shoulder injury only after the fight.
"What a coincidence...just after the fight, that's when your arm is hurting? Why didn't you say that a couple days before?" said Mayweather. -- JST, GMA News
