Pacquiao too strong, too big for Khan says Roach

Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach believes that Manny Pacquiao would be a little too much for Amir Khan should the prospective showdown come to fruition.

Khan, who served as Pacquiao's sparring partner in the past, is on the shortlist of Pacquiao's possible foes for his ring return next year.

"Manny's a little bit too big and strong for him and the better puncher," Roach tells fightype.com.

"Amir Khan is a great athlete and a good fighter. They boxed quite a bit here in the ring."

While nothing is official including the date and venue of the fight, Roach has already expressed that he's willing to go up against Khan anywhere in the world.

"We'll fight him in his backyard. He can't beat Manny," says Roach. - RAF, GMA News
