Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach is doubtful that his top ward Manny Pacquiao will truly retire after fighting Timothy Bradley for the third time on April 9 (April 10 PHL time) at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Despite Pacquiao insisting on numerous occastions that April would mark his final bout, Roach is still hopeful that the Filipino ring icon would fight on after that.

"I don't think this will be the last fight, no," Roach tells boxingscene.com.

"Well, Manny might be more patient and make sure his shoulder is OK. Maybe we can fight Floyd [Mayweather] one more time."

There were mixed reactions when Pacquiao vs. Bradley 3 was announced as many believe that Pacquiao had already beat Bradley twice. But for Roach, the fight may not be as bad as what the critics think.

"I think we beat him twice already. We got one bad decision but Manny's been off for awhile," said Roach.

"He's coming off shoulder surgery so it's probably not a bad choice at this point." —JM Siasat/JST, GMA News
