Pacquiao: I have not made a decision, Roach will be first to know

Manny Pacquiao on Monday clarified that he has not made a decision on whether he will have a new trainer for his July 14 fight with Argentina's World Boxing Association welterweight champion Lucas Matthysse.

"I have not made my final decision who will be my head trainer for my July 14 fight with Matthysse," Pacquiao posted on his Twitter account.

He released the statement after his long-time head trainer Freddie Roach announced that Pacquiao had kicked him out.

Roach said in a statement over the weekend that he was "hurt" because Pacquiao did not contact him personally about the decision.

Pacquiao said his adviser Mike Koncz is in contact with Roach.

He said he will make his decision on whether to let go of Roach within the week. —ALG, GMA News
