WBA welterweight champ Lucas Matthysse arrives in Manila to promote bout with Pacquiao
World Boxing Association welterweight champion Lucas Matthysse arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 on Wednesday.
Matthysse arrived past 6 a.m. aboard Philippine Airlines flight PR 103.

The boxer, through Golden Boy Promotions public relations director Ramiro Gonzales, said he is preparing very well for the fight against boxing icon Manny Pacquiao.
When asked what are his chances of knocking out Pacquiao, he said, “with his two hands.”

Matthysse holds a record of 36 knockouts in 39 fights with a win-loss record of 39-44.
He is in the Philippines for the promotion of the fight happening on July 15 in Malaysia.
Matthysse will fly out of Manila on Thursday bound for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the next leg of promotions. —KG, GMA News
