Filipino boxing icon Senator Manny Pacquiao is set to leave for Kuala Lumpur on Monday afternoon for his fight against Argentine boxer Lucas Matthysse on July 15.

Pacquaio will be leaving with some 200 members of his entourage, GMA News' Mav Gonzales reported on Dobol B sa News TV on Monday.

Apart from members of Team Pacquiao, family members, friends, local media, and other supporters of the boxing champ are included in his entourage.

In her report on Unang Balita, Gonzales said Pacquiao and his entourage attended their last Holy Mass before the fight at the Word for Everyone Church in General Santos City on Sunday.

Among those who attended the Mass were coaches Buboy Fernandez and Justin Fortune, and Pacquiao's mother Dionisia and her boyfriend Michael Yamson.

After the preaching, the congregation prayed for Pacquiao for his upcoming fight.

The fighting senator was quoted as saying in the report that he is satisfied with his two-month training.

The Pacquiao-Matthysse fight will be held on Sunday, July 15, at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and can be viewed on GMA 7. —Maia Tria/KBK, GMA News
