Mig Elorde knocks out Sawangsoda in Round 3 for featherweight title

Juan Miguel "Mig" Elorde on Sunday won after he knocked out Thai boxer Ratchanon Sawangsoda during their fight for the featherweight title in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

According to a tweet by GMA News' Mav Gonzales, it was a technical knockout in the third round.

Elorde is the grandson of Filipino legendary boxing champ Gabriel "Flash" Elorde.

His fight against Sawangsoda was one of the many bouts scheduled before the main event, the Pacquiao vs. Matthysse fight, in Kuala Lumpur. —KG, GMA News
