Colleagues of Senator Manny Pacquiao and other government officials flew to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to watch the Filipino boxing champ's much-awaited bout with Argentinian boxer Lucas Matthysse on Sunday.

Among those who will watch the fight first hand was Senate President Vicente Sotto III who, in an interview with GMA News, expressed full support to Pacquiao.

"Siyempre, kay Manny tayo," he said.

Sotto, however, could not give a forecast of until what round the fight will last.

"Mahirap sabihin e, depende sa sitwasyon," he said.

Sotto said other reporters who will watch the fight are Senators JV Ejercito and Ralph Recto.

Also spotted in the venue are former Philippine National Police chief and now Bureau of Corrections chief Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa and former Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

Marcos said he was invited by Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the husband of Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Dato' Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

Aside from them, Quezon City Representative Vicente Crisologo, Navotas City Representative Toby Tiangco, former Ilocos Sur Governor Luis Chavit Singson and Quezon City Councilor Gian Sotto are also present in the event.

Around 300 uniformed personnel have been deployed to maintain peace and order in the event.
