Matthysse: ‘I lost to a great legend’
Argentinian boxer Lucas Matthysse has nothing but praise for Filipino champ Manny Pacquiao, who scored a seventh-round technical knockout victory in their fight in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Sunday.
"He's a great fighter and a great champion," Matthysse said in an interview right after the match.

Matthysse admitted that while he was confident that he would win the match, it is not all the time that the odds are in his favor.
"Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Today was my turn to lose but I lost to a great fighter, a great legend," he said.
Pacquiao sent Matthysse to the canvas during the third, fifth and finally on the seventh round.
Matthysse said he would like to take a rest first after the match and spend time with his family.
He likewise thanked his fans in Argentina for their continuous support.
Pacquiao's technical knockout win was first since 2009, scoring his 60th victory against seven defeats and two draws.
