Kapuso network hosts welcome dinner for WBA champ Pacquiao
A welcome and congratulatory dinner was held by the Kapuso network on Wednesday evening for Filipino boxing icon and Senator Manny Pacquiao after he recently claimed the WBA Welterweight title against Argentinian Lucas Matthysse in Malaysia.
Among the GMA executives present were Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon, President and COO Gilberto Duavit Jr, GMA EVP and CFO Felipe S. Yalong.
Also seen at the event were former Ilocos Sur Governor Luis "Chavit" Singson and Solicitor General Jose Calida.

“I don’t think there was any boxer before Manny who has won the championship in eight weight divisions. And for that matter I don’t think for many, many years to come there will be another one, dahil hindi pa po tapos ang ating champion,” Atty. Gozon said in a speech.

Pacquiao has declared that his July fight is not yet his last bout.
