Pacquiao, Roach meet for the first time after over a year in Beverly Hills

World boxing champion Manny Pacquiao and his longtime trainer Freddie Roach have met and talked for the first in over a year.

According to a report on "State of the Nation with Jessica Soho", Pacquiao and Roach met at the senator's suite in Beverly Hills.

They last talked after Pacquiao's defeat in the hands of Australian Jeff Horn in Brisbane in 2017.

It's still not clear whether Roach will re-join Pacquiao's team.

Roach was not in Pacquiao's corner when the Filipino defeated Lucas Matthysse in Kuala Lumpur this July.

Pacquiao is now in the United States to promote his fight against Adrien Broner on January 19 in Las Vegas. —NB, GMA News
