Stats show just how much Pacquiao dominated Broner

Manny Pacquiao made it look easy against Adrien Broner on Sunday, dominating from bell to bell for the unanimous decision victory.

Just how lopsided was the fight? The stats tell a good story.

 

According to ShoStats, Pacquiao landed a total of 30 of 371 jabs, compared to just 11 of 115 for Broner. Pacquiao also scored on 42 of 197 power punches, an impressive 47 percent clip, compared to just 39 of 180 (22 percent) for the American fighter.

Overall, Pacquiao landed 112 of 568 punches, compared to just 50 of 295 for Broner.

Pacquiao also landed 47 body punches to Broner’s three.

The most important stat of the night — the judges’ scorecard — also reflected this, as Pacquiao won 117-111, 116-112, 116-112.
