Ladon, Suarez advance in SEA Games boxing

Two more Filipino fighters have advanced in the 30th Southeast Asian Games boxing tournament at the PICC Forum in Pasay City Wednesday.

Rogen Ladon defeated Indonesia's Aldoms Sugoro, 4-1, in the men's flyweight 52kg category for the home squad's first win of the day.

Charly Suarez then beat Paing Arkar Min of Myanmar via referee's stoppage in the men's lightweight 60kg event.

Meanwhile, Vietnam's Hoang Dinh Truong defeated Marvin Nobel via split decision, 3-2, in the men's light heavyweight 81kg category.
