Ryan Garcia announces next fight with Manny Pacquiao on social media

WBC interim lightweight champion Ryan Garcia is claiming that his next fight would be against eight-division Manny Pacquiao.

The social media star, who stated several times in the past that Pacquiao is indeed his idol, announced the fight on Instagram.

“A dream turned reality! It’s an honor to share the ring with Manny Pacquiao I will always respect what you did in and out the ring. Here’s to the best man winning,” Garcia wrote.

The 22-year-old scored his biggest win to date via seventh-round technical knockout against Luke Campbell and has a perfect record of 21-0 with 18 knockouts.

Pacquiao, meanwhile, has not fought since he defeated Keith Thurman in July 2019 where he claimed the WBA world welterweight title.
