Veteran analyst sees early stoppage win for Pacquiao over Spence

Veteran broadcaster and sports analyst Sev Sarmenta predicts an early stoppage win for Manny Pacquiao when he takes on WBC and IBF world welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. on Aug. 21.

“That is going to be Manny Pacquiao in a short fight. Being 42 it doesn’t favor him to have a long fight. If he can finish it very early it favors Pacquiao,” Sarmenta answered when asked for his prediction.

Sarmenta also noted his observation that Pacquiao now had a smarter approach each time he stepped into the ring.

Though he prefers to see the Filipino ring icon in a rematch against Jeff Horn, the respected sports analyst has no qualms in seeing a fight between Pacquiao and Spence.
