Undefeated Filipino Mark Magsayo scores 10th round knockout of Mexican foe on Pacquiao-Ugas undercard

Filipino boxer Mark Magsayo continued his winning streak with an impressive knockout win over Julio Ceja of Mexico in a WBC featherweight title eliminator bout at the T-mobile Arena, Las Vegas on Sunday morning (Manila time).

Magsayo landed a big right hand at the 50-second mark of Round 10 to send his Mexican foe to the canvas as the referee called the stoppage.

Magsayo will now improve 23-0 with 16 KOs.

The 26-year-old Filipino pug scored an early knockdown in the opening round but had to survive one from Ceja, as well as some big body shots, in the fifth round.

Earlier, another Filipino in John Dato fell to Mexican boxer Angel Contreras after the latter won in an eight-round featherweight match.
