Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou boxing match set for October
Former UFC heavyweight world champion Francis Ngannou is set to make his boxing debut against WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
There are no details yet if the pair will fight for Fury's world title or if the bout is merely an exhibition.
"As soon as that bell goes, it will be bombs away. This guy is supposed to be the hardest puncher in the world, but let’s see how he reacts when he gets hit by the Big GK. I can’t wait to get back out there under the lights," Fury said.

Ngannou, 17-3 as a professional mixed martial artist, made headlines earlier this year after he parted ways with the UFC as both parties failed to come to terms on renewing his contract.
As a result, Ngannou was stripped of his UFC heavyweight world title which was later won by Jon Jones. Ngannou, for his part, signed with PFL where he is allowed to box outside of his MMA contract.
"My dream was always to box and to box the best. After becoming the undisputed MMA heavyweight champion, this is my opportunity to make that dream come true and cement my position as the baddest man on the planet," Ngannou stated.
