Aira Villegas opened the Philippines' boxing campaign at the 2024 Paris Olympics on a high note as she defeated Morocco's Yasmine Mouttaki last Monday.

Villegas won via unanimous decision in their Round of 32 match in the women's 50kg event.

On Friday past 2 a.m., she will continue her journey in the Round of 16 against Alegria's Roumaysa Boualam.
