Nonito Donaire Jr made a successful boxing comeback at 42 years old following a technical decision win over Andres Campos earlier today at Casino Buenos Aires in Argentina.

Donaire, who last saw action in July 2023 when he lost via unanimous decision against Alexandro Santiago, boxed his opponent’s ears off throughout the night.

In round 9, an accidental headbutt drew a cut on top of Donaire’s right eyebrow, which prompted the referee to go to the scorecards.

All three judges saw the fight for Donaire, awarding him a ninth-round technical decision to improve his record to 43-8 with 28 knockouts. The scorecards were 88-83, 87-84, and 87-84.
