Pacquiao scores fight vs. Barrios 8-4, says he's not totally satisfied with performance

Former eight-division champion and Hall of Famer Manny Pacquiao is convinced that he deserved the nod against Mario Barrios earlier today at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The 46-year-old Pacquiao went toe to toe with Barrios for twelve rounds, showing flashes of brilliance with his signature speed and left hand.

In the end, however, one judge saw the fight 115-113 for Barrios while the other had it 114-114, ending the contest by majority draw

“After twelve rounds, I thought I won the fight. My analysis, like I won 8-4, but the thing is I am surprised with the announcement it is a draw,” Pacquiao said at the post-match press conference.

“I did my best in the ring, the fans were happy with my performance. But do not worry, Pacman is back. I am still here.”

Though seemingly happy with how his fight turned out after a four-year hiatus, Pacquiao admits that he could have done other things better.

“I think my performance was good tonight [though] I am not satisfied with my combinations. I should have thrown more punches and been more aggressive to knock him out,” Pacquiao said.
