Pacquiao is WBC's top-rated welterweight boxer

Manny Pacquiao is the no. 1 rated boxer in the welterweight division, according to the ratings released by the World Boxing Council on Friday.

The updated ratings came just weeks after Pacquiao and fought reigning champion Marrio Barrios to a majority draw.

France's Souleymane Cissokho is ranked second while Mexico's Raul Curiel holds the no. 3 spot.

Pacquiao, who previously retired from the sport in 2021, returned to the ring after four years to face Barrios. He was also recently inducted to the Boxing Hall of Fame.
