Team Llover in top shape, flies to Kyrgyzstan for Baldor bout
Kenneth Llover is all set for another overseas assignment as he heads to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, for his bantamweight clash against the towering Luciano Baldor on October 26 at Bishkek Arena.
Llover, who holds a perfect record of 15 wins with 10 knockouts, is fresh off an eighth-round stoppage victory over former two-division champion Luis Concepcion last August in Manila
The unbeaten prospect held an open media workout in Parañaque yesterday, where he displayed sharp form and confidence ahead of his next challenge.
“I know I just fought, but we have trained hard for this fight. I am ready, and I plan to push the pace against my opponent on fight night,” said Llover.
“I want to thank my team for getting me ready for this fight. A win in Kyrgyzstan means I would be one step closer to my world title dream.”
If successful against Baldor, who stands 5′11½″ with a 21-4 record, Llover is expected to return to the ring again before the year ends or by the first quarter of 2026.
