PBA Update: Yeo, Gonzales lift Sta. Lucia past SMB

MANILA, Philippines – Joseph Yeo and Norman Gonzales had career-highs in scoring to lead Sta. Lucia to a 100-95 win over San Miguel Beer in Wednesday’s second game in the KFC PBA Philippine Cup at the Araneta Coliseum. Yeo erased his previous career high of 29 points by registering 38 to help the defending Philippine Cup champions nail its sixth win in 10 games and overtake Rain or Shine in third place in the standings. Gonzales backed him up with 25 points and also pulled down 10 rebounds for the Realtors, who foiled the Beermen’s bid of joining the Alaska Aces on top of the leaderboard.
