MANILA, Philippines – Barako Energy Drink recently acquired big man Alex Crisano from Barangay Ginebra as it continues to reinforce its roster in the post Yeng Guiao era. Ginebra coach Jong Uichico confirmed the trade which involved the Barakos’ 2010 second round draft pick going to the Kings. The 6-foot-7 Fil-Am is the latest addition to the Photokina franchise as it gears for the coming Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Fiesta Conference minus Guiao. Guiao, the fiery and outspoken former Barakos coach, resigned shortly after the Philippine Cup following an eight-year partnership with the team that produced three championships. Guiao has since signed up with Burger King. Other than Crisano, the new face in the Barako Energy Drink’s line up is John Arigo, although the team recently activated guard Reed Juntilla. Crisano was part of the Ginebra squad that bagged the 2008 Fiesta Cup title over Air21. – GMANews.TV
