NCBA, DOMC cagers begin action for UCLAA

Host National College of Business and Arts (NCBA) faces De Ocampo Memorial College (DOMC) while Philippine College of Criminology (PCCr) goes against newcomer Manuel L. Quezon University in the second season opening of the Universities and College of Luzon Athletic Association (UCLAA) Friday at the Blue Eagle gym in Quezon City. NCBA and DOMC tangle at 10 a.m. following a one-hour opening ceremony, while the PCCr-MLQU meeting is slated at 11:30 a.m.

Metro Manila College (MMC) and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa open their bids at 1 p.m. while in the juniors division, NCBA tackles St. Francis of Assisi College at 2:30 p.m. All the following matches, including the volleyball tournament which starts on Nov. 26, are scheduled at the San Andres gym in Manila. St. Jude College (SJC) is the defending men's and women's volleyball champion while St. Francis is the defending seniors’ basketball titlist and PCCr is the defending juniors’ champs. Also scheduled to start this semester are competitions in badminton, chess and beach volleyball. - GMANews.TV
