Game 2 of the 74th UAAP men's basketball finals game scheduled Tuesday was postponed due to inclement weather, UAAP president Ricky Palou said. The 3 p.m. game between the four-peat-seeking Ateneo Blue Eagles and the Far Eastern University Tamaraws, and the awarding ceremony scheduled at 2 p.m. will be moved to Saturday, October 1, also at the Araneta Coliseum. "There are already areas in Metro Manila that are evacuating and it would not look right if there will be games here. It's also for the safety of the fans," said Palou. Palou added that Game 3, if necessary, will be scheduled at a later date because the Big Dome is fully-booked in the next few days. Tickets for Tuesday's game will be honored on Saturday, Palou said. Earlier, Palou announced that the game would push through despite the inclement weather Game 2 of the women's final between Adamson and FEU and the juniors championship between FEU and National University, however, pushed through Tuesday. — With Reuben Terrado/Candice Montenegro/RSJ/JVP, GMA News
