The Philippine team was in control the whole game, with Kiefer Ravena, RR Garcia and Nico Salva combining for 48 points. Sinag ended the first quarter up 35-20. The first half ended with the Philippines up 61-39. In the third quarter, Sinag continued its scoring barrage, pouring 32 points to Cambodia's 17. In the fourth quarter, the Cambodians never recovered, as they only scored 12 to Sinag's 34 points. The Norman Black- mentored squad shot 71 percent from the field. They also out-rebounded Cambodia 44-24. The Philippines relied on a strong inside game, scoring 74 points in the paint. They also shared the ball well, tallying 26 assists to Cambodia's 8. All Sinag players were able to play, with seven players scoring double figures. The Philippines will play Vietnam on Tuesday and Thailand on Wednesday to finish the group stages.
