NCAA 87: EAC outlasts Arellano, joins Perpetual on top of women's volleyball

Emilio Aguinaldo College outlasted Arellano University, 20-25, 25-20, 25-22, 20-25, 15-11 to gain a share of the lead in the 87th NCAA women’s volleyball tournament at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium Wednesday. The Lady Generals and Lady Chiefs halved the first two sets to arrange the thrilling finale. EAC played steadily down the stretch to secure its fourth straight win to join University of Perpetual Help System Dalta on top of the standings. The Lady Chiefs suffered their second loss in four games. The EAC Brigadiers, in the juniors division, blanked the AU Baby Chiefs, 25-12, 25-21, 25-21.
