Letran plans to bar foreign players in the NCAA

Incoming 88th NCAA season president Fr. Tamerlane Lana said they plan to revise the league's Constitution, By-laws and Manual of Operations to bar foreigners from playing, particularly in basketball, in the near future. Lana said the NCAA Policy Board and the Management Committee had already discussed the plan to finally update the league rules. Letran has been vocal against allowing foreigners to play in the league. And with Letran hosting the 88th season, Lana said they will not waste the opportunity to make their stand against foreign players. Lana said they will only allow Filipino-foreign players in the NCAA. — JVP, GMA News
