PBL: Sparks snap Comets' winning run

Games Tuesday – EAC Gym, Taft, Manila 2 pm – Henkel Sista vs Magnolia 4 pm – Toyota Otis vs TeleTech Toyota Otis Sparks ended Mail and More's winning streak and stopped the Comets from gaining an automatic semifinal berth with an 81-71 victory Saturday at the PBL Silver Cup action at the Olivarez Sports Center in Parañaque. The Sparks overcame the Comets' height advantage to score their sixth win in nine games and ended Mail and More's six-straight winning streak. The victory pushed the Sparks to gain a spot in second place with Hapee PCU and Henkel Sista. The win also kept the Sparks in contention for automatic semis slot which will be given to the top two teams after the classification round. - GMANews.TV
