UAAP: Ateneo defeats UE in men's volleyball

Ateneo de Manila University defeated University of the East in straight sets, 25-20 25-22 25-20, on Sunday at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

 

It was a team effort for Ateneo, who had nine players contributing in the win. Ricci Gonzales led the Eagles with 13, while John Sandoval added nine. Four other players chipped in six each.

 

Homer Lauresta led UE with 12, while team captain Angelo Soria added 11 in the loss. - AMD, GMA News
